SCAVENGER HUNT

On 17th December, Cadre Club (HR) of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus School of Business Management organized the event ‘Scavenger Hunt.’

It was a treasure hunt-based game where the whole MBA department was divided into three specializations – HR, Marketing and Finance. Each specialization was further divided into teams of 5 - 6 members to perform the given tasks. Each team was given initial clues to be solved before the final clue. The last clue led every team to the same location where the final event was held, i.e., the football ground. The final task was to carry a small ball from Point A to Point B with the help of the given logistics without touching the ball with hands. The whole objective of the game was to make students understand the importance of the organizational goal and required teamwork to achieve it.

All the HR students of MBA First year and Second year led by Prof Sharad Gupta were the organizers of the event. The event started at 3:30 PM and lasted till 5:30 PM here the students of MBA Departments were divided into smaller teams are were give clues that lead to the same organizational goal.

The takeaways for participants were: how to work in a team, how everyone in a team plays a role of equal importance, how to make decisions, manage people and in the end, how everyone is working on different tasks in order to achieve the same goal.
