PROJECT BRIDGE – ACTIVITY SENTOSA

On 18th December 2021, as Lavasa Campus celebrated Magnificat, the volunteers of CSA Project Bridge organised “Sentosa” at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune  Lavasa Campus for the school children of the nearby villages Dasve and Bohini.

Project Bridge is an initiative of the CSA which commenced during the lockdown. It was noticed by the students who were stuck in Lavasa during the lockdown, that children of our housekeeping staff were not having access to quality education. A basic study concluded that these students lack the proficiency to compete and sustain themselves in this competitive environment where talents and skills are at a premium, due to inadequate academic training. These volunteers decided to take action to orient these students and uplift not just their pedagogical quotient but also their overall development. This ongoing program commenced on 28 June 2021 and includes children from classes 6th to the 12th. The activities carried out under the aegis of Project Bridge include academic support, extracurricular activities, seminars on topics of general awareness, workshops in arts, dance and dramatics, career guidance and financial assistance.
