INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON QUANTUM COMPUTING AND FINTECH

The School of Business and Management (MBA), and Center for Emerging Business Technologies (CEBT) organized an International Symposium on quantum computing and Fintech on 27th November 2021 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.


The event was an international symposium where eminent speakers like Prof Amlan Chakrabarti (IEEE Distinguished Speaker & Head IT& Tech Innovation Cell, Dept of Higher Education, Govt of West Bengal), Mr ChintanOza (President - One Quantum India), and Mr Karthick Swaminathan (Founder at FINTASTECH and Author of 3F: Future Fintech Framework) addressed the students on a range of topics including Business applications of Quantum Computing to Fintech.

Prof Amlan Chakrabarti discussed the conceptual framework underlying the Quantum Computer and how this future technology will help change the IT and Computer Industry landscape. Prof Amlan informed Quantum computing is a cutting-edge technology based on the science of quantum mechanics. It is also a beautiful combination of physics, mathematics, computer science. Mr ChintanOza connected the dots between technology and future application in the Fintech Industry. Mr Chintan emphasized that advanced technology like Quantum Computing can disrupt Fintech practices and revolutionize them shortly. Mr Karthick spoke about Future Fintech Framework, which helps students and young professionals interested in the growing Fintech segment with a simplified framework to understand, innovate and be future-ready for business opportunities and career growth. Dr Jayant Mahajan gave the vote of thanks on behalf of CEBT (School of Business and Management) – MBA.


The symposium was well received and it certainly would not have been possible without the involvement of the CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa family members.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM.
