SESSION ON CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN BUSINESS ANALYTICS

The School of Business and Management (MBA) organized a Guest lecture Session on 'Career opportunities in Business Analytics' on 11th January 2022 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.


It started with a welcome note by Prof Anshul Saxena. The event was attended by almost 70 students. After the welcome speech, Saurabh Shahane, the guest speaker addressed the gathering with his thoughtful words and insights regarding the Business Analytics domain. Saurabh Shahane is the CEO of The Machine Learning Company. He explained about different job roles in Business analytics and the difference between a data scientist and a business analyst. He also talked about machine learning and augmented reality. The session ended with the vote of thanks by Prof Anshul Saxena. It was quite an interesting and knowledgeable session. It gave a brief insight into the Business Analytics domain.


The lecture was well received and it certainly would not have been possible without the involvement of the CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa family members.

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
