IEEE STUDENT BODY INAUGURATION AND INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON QUANTUM COMPUTING AND FINTECH
CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa campus, inaugurated its IEEE student body branch on 27th November 2021. The inauguration started with the beautiful invocation song by Ms Christina Bordoloi, an MBA 1st year student, followed by Dr Becky M Thomas (HoD), School of Business and Management (MBA), welcoming all the dignitaries.
Esteemed personalities from IEEE were present during the lighting of the lamp. In his inaugural address, Dr Fr Jossy P George expressed his happiness over the inclusion of the STEM approach in the management domain. Mr Deepak Mathur, IEEE Chair Asia Pacific Region R10, praised the university for integrating technology with management studies, thus creating a unique blend of techno managers. In a special address by Mr Girish Khilari, IEEE Chair Pune section highlighted various opportunities and events held under IEEE Pune and welcomed the student body of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa campus under IEEE ambit.
The event continued with certificate distribution to CEBT Core committee members by dignitaries Mr Jagdish Chaudhari, Dr Neha Sharma, Dr Rajashree Jain, and Dr Fr Arun Antony, Academic Coordinator, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa campus. The inauguration ended with the vote of thanks given by Prof Anshul Saxena (IEEE Counselor). He highlighted the plan related to the expansion of the IEEE student chapter.
