IEEE STUDENT BODY INAUGURATION AND INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON QUANTUM COMPUTING AND FINTECH

CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa campus, inaugurated its IEEE student body branch on 27th November 2021. The inauguration started with the beautiful invocation song by Ms Christina Bordoloi, an MBA 1st year student, followed by Dr Becky M Thomas (HoD), School of Business and Management (MBA), welcoming all the dignitaries.

Esteemed personalities from IEEE were present during the lighting of the lamp. In his inaugural address, Dr Fr Jossy P George expressed his happiness over the inclusion of the STEM approach in the management domain. Mr Deepak Mathur, IEEE Chair Asia Pacific Region R10, praised the university for integrating technology with management studies, thus creating a unique blend of techno managers. In a special address by Mr Girish Khilari, IEEE Chair Pune section highlighted various opportunities and events held under IEEE Pune and welcomed the student body of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa campus under IEEE ambit.


The event continued with certificate distribution to CEBT Core committee members by dignitaries Mr Jagdish Chaudhari, Dr Neha Sharma, Dr Rajashree Jain, and Dr Fr Arun Antony, Academic Coordinator, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa campus. The inauguration ended with the vote of thanks given by Prof Anshul Saxena (IEEE Counselor). He highlighted the plan related to the expansion of the IEEE student chapter.

The inauguration was well received and it certainly would not have been possible without the involvement of the CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa family members. My sincere thanks to the entire CEBT & IEEE student team for conducting the symposium in an extremely professional manner. PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
