Marketing Monks Club Launch Activities
The annual launch of the Marketing club for 2022 was preceded by a week-long set of activities. The event was held in presence of Prof Jobin Jacob, Prof Stanny Dias, and Prof. Tanya Sharma the faculty members of marketing specialization. The event was organized by students of the MBA marketing Department under the guidance of the faculties. Students of 1st year MBA and 2nd year Marketing students took part in the event enthusiastically. The event was organized by the Marketing Department and lasted for 4 days which included various activities like flashmob, competitions, movie night, sports events, and food stalls for sales. The students’ team was there throughout the event to ensure the smooth functioning of the different parts of the events. The Marketing and the 1st year students were divided into 4 groups for the event.
Day -1(19 September 2022): Team 1 organized the food stall with various food types ranging from Breakfast to Lunch items. the food stall was open from 6:45 am to 1:30 pm. Team 4 handled the promotional event by showcasing their dance talent by performing the flashmob in the MBA block Amphitheater during the lunch break to attract the crowd and promote the launch of the Marketing Monks Club. Team 4 organized a fun Jingle-making event named “Juggle Your Jingle” for the Marketing and 1st year MBA students. Students had to submit a video showcasing their creativity by choosing a brand or product to create a jingle for the ad.
Day - 2 (20 September 2022): Team 2 organized the food stall with various food types ranging from Breakfast to Lunch meals. The food stall was open from 6:45 am to 1:30 pm. Team 3 handled the promotional event by showcasing their dance talent by performing the flashmob in the MBA block Amphitheater during the lunch break to attract the crowd and promote the launch of the Marketing Monks Club. Team 3 organized the ‘Wealth out of Waste’ event to showcase talent on the theme. The event's purpose was to promote ‘Reduce, Reuse And Recycle’ as it is a major concern with sustainability and the environment.
Day - 3 (21 September 2022): Team 3 organized the food stall with various food types ranging from Breakfast to Lunch meals. The food stall was open from 6:45 am to 1:30 pm. Team 2 handled the promotional event by showcasing their dance talent by performing the flashmob in the MBA block Amphitheater during the lunch break to attract the crowd and promote the launch of the Marketing Monks Club. Team 2 organized the event of MAD-ADS, which was a creative event to judge the ingeniousness of the participants in preparing an advertisement for the product proposed. The sports event was organized for the 4 teams. All the teams competed against each other in a Futsal match. Team 2 won the Futsal match against Team 4.
Day - 4 (22 September 2022): Team 4 organized the food stall with various food types ranging from Breakfast to Lunch meals. The food stall was open from 6:45 am to 2:30 pm. Team 1 handled the promotional event by showcasing their dance talent by performing the flashmob in the MBA block Amphitheater during the lunch break to attract the crowd and promote the launch of the Marketing Monks Club. Team 1 organized the fun event of ‘Reel to Real’, where the students had to pick trending music from Instagram reels, add their favourite products, and dance to the music.
