Deepotsav : Diwali Celebration

On November 7, 2024, the Department of Data Science at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa, Pune Campus, hosted the vibrant 'Deepotsav’ it was a heartwarming celebration of talent, diversity, and creativity, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a joyful atmosphere. The evening was marked by various performances that highlighted the artistic skills and collaborative spirit of the participants, making the event a memorable experience for everyone involved.

The evening started with an exciting musical performance by Rishabh, whose captivating song set the tone for the celebrations. Following his performance, Ankit took the stage, adding his unique flair to the event with another soulful song, creating a chain of melodies that resonated with the audience. The musical flow continued as Aryaman, accompanied by his guitar, performed a beautiful rendition that brought warmth and nostalgia to the evening.

The energy took a new turn with a skit performed by Austin, Ashish, Saptaswa, and Vedika. This dynamic group presented a humorous yet thought-provoking piece that brought both laughter and applause. Their seamless teamwork and timing showcased not only their acting skills but also their deep camaraderie. This lively act was followed by a short quiz segment, which served as an engaging filler and kept the audience involved, breaking the routine and adding an element of fun competition.

Yatharth then took the stage with another melodic song, filling the hall with rich and soulful notes. He was followed by Siddhi and Lakshmi, whose duet brought a unique blend of harmonies and left the audience spellbound. Their voices complemented each other, adding another layer of emotional resonance to the evening’s musical journey.

Shifting from music to dance, Michelle wowed the audience with an elegant dance performance that combined grace with energy. Her rhythmic movements and expressive style captivated the audience, infusing the evening with a sense of cultural richness. As a filler before the next performance, Ashish recited a poem that brought a reflective pause, allowing the audience to appreciate the beauty of words and thought in between the livelier performances.

The grand finale came with a dynamic dance performance by David, whose powerful movements and rhythmic style brought the event to an exhilarating close. His performance was met with enthusiastic applause, and the energy in the room was palpable, wrapping up the event on a high note.
