EKLAVYA 26
On the 30th and 31st of October 2026, the Christ University School of Business And Management Association (CUSBMA), in collaboration with the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), proudly hosted the highly anticipated EKLAVYA ’26. This Annual Inter-Department Entrepreneurship Fest completely transformed the campus into a vibrant, high-energy hub of business innovation and strategic thinking. Over two action-packed days, students from various academic backgrounds converged across multiple Central Block venues to showcase their entrepreneurial mettle. The atmosphere was electric with the excitement of aspiring leaders stepping out of traditional academic boundaries to test their skills. EKLAVYA ’26 was carefully designed to bridge the critical gap between theoretical classroom concepts and real-world practical application.
The core philosophy of the event was deeply rooted in the legendary spirit of Eklavya, which champions self-learning, perseverance, self-assessment, and continuous improvement. The organizing committee recognized a significant need for a practical platform where students could thoroughly explore entrepreneurship beyond textbooks and traditional lectures. Building a successful enterprise demands the ability to identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions, manage scarce resources, and respond effectively to rapidly changing market conditions. By providing hands-on experience in business planning, decision-making, and resource management, the fest created an immersive experiential learning environment. Participants were pushed to apply theoretical business concepts to complex entrepreneurial challenges, proving that diverse academic minds can collaborate to generate viable business strategies.
The journey began on October 30th with a grand Inaugural Ceremony at the Central Block Auditorium, setting a tone of high ambition and fierce competitive spirit. Immediately following the inauguration, participants dived headfirst into Round 0, an engaging ice-breaking session held in the Central Block Classrooms. This initial round was crucial for networking, allowing students to form strategic alliances and prepare for the rigorous challenges ahead. As the evening progressed into the subsequent elimination stages, the intensity noticeably heightened across the campus. These early stages rigorously tested the participants' foundational business acumen, requiring them to make swift, calculated decisions under pressure while demonstrating effective teamwork and clear, concise communication.
The momentum continued seamlessly into October 31st as the surviving teams faced the ultimate test of their strategic foresight and resilience. The afternoon rounds introduced increasingly complex business simulations requiring advanced negotiation skills, persuasive pitching, and robust problem-solving abilities from every single participating team. Students had to adapt rapidly to simulated market fluctuations and unforeseen business hurdles, showcasing their deep understanding of core entrepreneurial principles. The creativity and analytical thinking displayed during these final elimination stages were truly inspiring to witness. The event gracefully concluded with a memorable Valedictory Ceremony back in the Central Block Auditorium, where the most innovative minds were rightfully celebrated, and the prize pool was awarded to top-performing participants.Reflecting on the immense success of EKLAVYA ’26, the expected learning outcomes were vastly exceeded by the sheer dedication of the students. The fest successfully created a vibrant inter-departmental platform that strongly encouraged healthy competition, profound knowledge exchange, and essential professional networking. Participants walked away having developed significantly greater confidence in presenting bold ideas, handling unpredictable challenges, and adapting to dynamic, ever-changing business situations. By actively engaging in these diverse business-oriented challenges, students cultivated a resilient mindset geared toward long-term enterprise growth and collaborative success. Ultimately, EKLAVYA '26 served as a powerful reminder that hands-on, experiential learning remains the absolute best way to prepare dynamic business leaders for future industry success.
