TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION AMIDST EXAMS

As term end exams are going on students of Christ Institute of Management, Lavasa can be seen glued to their books and notebooks for a last minute revision or exchanging glances and views for some value points. No sooner did the exam got over on 5th September 2018, than the students assembled in the amphitheater and gave a pleasant surprise to their teachers on the occasion of Teacher's Day.




It was a short but meaningful presentation. The event began with a graceful dance by Torani Makana and Deepshikha Sinha to express their gratitude towards the teachers. It was followed by a fascinating musical chair for the faculty. Professor Jobin Jacob and Director, Fr Jossy were the finalists and Fr Jossy emerged as the winner.




After that everyone gathered for cake cutting. As a good will gesture just before cutting the cake Fr Jossy thanked the students and teachers for their unflinching efforts to maintain a harmonious relationship between the teacher and the taught. It was moment of great honour as every faculty member cut the cake.

 
Despite a hectic schedule the students planned and coordinated with each other to convey their regards. It proved that the exams didn't deter them from exhibiting their love for their teachers. Director, Fr Jossy George and the faculty members thanked and blessed them for their genuine efforts. Later tea and snacks were arranged by the Management in the faculty lounge.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM.
