Director, Fr Jossy P George's Message for Batch 2017 - 19

Today, is a day of joy, as we bring to a close a journey that we started two years ago.

I am conflicted with emotions as I stand before you, proud of what you have become and perhaps a bit sad that the day has come for your to move out.

Despite some hard tasks, sadness and grief that you have encountered in the course of your studies in the college, at the end of it all, you completed this part of journey with great achievements and beautiful memories.

Being tough with you at times does not mean that we hate you, but it was to prepare you for a greater challenge ahead, and to nurture you to build a strong foundation for your next level. We can all say with pride that you have attained this impressive milestone in your life with great honour and integrity.

We wish to thank you for the uncommon zeal that you demonstrated in your relationship with the teachers, management, the junior students.

Your batch has given us many firsts in the past two years, the way you organised Crescedent 3.0 is still a source of tremendous pride for us. You brought a record 24 teams to Lavasa and that too after rejecting many other teams for our football tournament. It was an amazing achievement and I congratulate you for that.

The recently concluded Conference brought many glories to our institution, where every participant praised you for the professionalism, hospitality and efficiency that you displayed while organising the event.

The club activities this year in particular have scaled new heights altogether! Even after sitting through block lectures the energy, enthusiasm and effort that you put in during the weeklong club activities was incredible.

Yet another feather in your cap in the CIP. Despite the many challenges you faced in the CIP you have emerged victorious. Many companies that you worked with, have praised your work and professionalism, and through your sincere efforts and hard work you have made us really proud.

There is one thing that I can say without hesitation, it is that we have seen you transform before our very own eyes and we cannot help but derive a deep sense of satisfaction because as teachers it is our desire and mission to help you realise everything you wish for.

My dear students, as you leave this college, expect that some challenges await you, which of course, I strongly believe, going by your antecedents and the manner in you have conducted yourselves over the years,  and the skills and knowledge we have imparted in you, you will surely overcome them.

At this point, I want to implore my dear outgoing students to always see yourselves as good ambassadors of this college and never allow selfish interest to blemish the integrity you have nurtured over the years in this great college. Be kind and good to people you meet on your way up. Think big thoughts and be optimistic in whatever you do.
