CCHS - Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2021

Globally, the month of October is celebrated as Breast Cancer Awareness month. CCHS (Centre for Counselling and Health Services) at the CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness through a series of various activities. All the activities were initiated and led by Dr Arundhati Chavan (Campus Doctor) with support from CDL Team.

Screening and Counselling:

To educate the staff and students about breast cancer, Dr Arundhati Chavan, Campus doctor conducted individual screening and counselling for more than 40 female staff members at the campus during the week of 26th October 2021 to 30th October 2021.


A Pink Ribbon for a Day:

To honour the breast cancer survivors and raise awareness ‘A Pink Ribbon Day' was celebrated on 22nd October 2021. This received an overwhelming response from the faculty and staff members.


Display of Digital Posters:

A Series of digital posters were displayed to raise awareness. Various posters with the importance of early detection and other messages were displayed across the campus and website.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
