MR. PRASAD BALAKRISHNAN, HEAD – R&D CRAY SUPERCOMPUTERS SHARES HIS EXPERIENCES AT CHRIST INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT, LAVASA

On 29 June 2018, Mr. Prasad Balakrishnan, Head of Research and Development visited Christ Institute of Management, Lavasa to share his insights and experiences with students.

Mr. Balakrishnan spoke on various topics including life, careers and supercomputers, all of which had students completely hanging by his every word. From humble beginnings to creating a successful career, his unique approach towards life and work as well as his whole attitude mesmerized the audience and captivated them so much so that the audience wanted to prolong the talk.

Passion towards life and enjoying what one does in order to create success is something that Mr. Balakrishnan paid key emphasis to. His simple conversational style, along with his in-depth knowledge in various areas of business clearly highlighted to students the importance of bringing desire alongside hard work to achieve their goals and dreams.

Mr. Balakrishnan also spoke on evolving career roles involving coding and supercomputers, and how students must learn to adapt to the ever-changing world.

It was evident that the dedication that he has put into his work and life has contributed to his success, and is a lesson to be learned by all.

Mr. Prasad Balakrishnan has nearly 26 years of experience in enabling technology that provided multi-million dollar opportunities and revenue growth in multi-cultural MNC environments. With a strong technical background and excellent understanding of business domains and key technologies, he has successfully leveraged these skills in interacting with clients for business, and technical problem analysis and solution consulting in IT Storage, Telecom, Networking Solutions & Applications, Ecosystem Solutions and Data Security Solutions domains.

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
