EXPERT TALK ON “SERVICES PROCESS WITH CUSTOMER ORIENTATION”



The School of Business & Management of CHRIST (deemed to be University) Pune Lavasa, campus conducted an expert talk on “Service Process with Customer Orientation”, by Mr. Arindam Banerjee. The Expert Talk was scheduled on 14th September 2020 (9:30am -11:30pm), conducted on the Cisco WebEx platform. The speaker for the session, Mr. Banerjee is currently working with Apollo Gleneagles Hospital as a Senior Executive in Insurance. He has invaluable experience in branding and marketing as well as he started his career in that field.



The session started off with Mr. Banerjee giving us a brief introduction of his career and how it had helped him to get the well-rounded understanding of the service sector that he has now. He gave us a better understanding of the services process, NEAT based analysis, service strategies, and various other concepts. The speaker explained all the concepts in a very student friendly manner by giving relatable and personal examples from his own experiences. Mr. Banerjee explained the service triangle in a very articulate manner. He also emphasized on satisfying the customer need which in turn will increase the trust between the consumer and the institution.




The session came to an end with a very informative Q&A between the students and the speaker. Many students were keen to get the details of the business and other areas like insurance and branding. The session was concluded with vote of thanks by Ms. Kalyanee Tokala.
