HINDI DIWAS GARV – HAMARI RASHTRA BHASHA HINDI

The Constitutional Law Committee under the Student Bar Association, School of Law of Christ (Deemed to be University), Lavasa on Monday conducted “Garv- Hamari Rashtra Bhasha Hindi” on account of Hindi Diwas. This event was conducted on 14th September 2020 (04:00 PM to 06:00 PM). 



Rev. Fr. Dr. Jossy George Dean and Director of Christ (Deemed to be University), Lavasa, inaugurated the event. The chief guest for this event, Mr. Rajeev Acharya, who is a retired Rajasthan Administrative Servant (RAS) and an eminent theatre personality, addressed the students regarding the importance and diversity of the Hindi language. He shared his stage experiences and enlightened students with his box full of experiences. The students were also addressed by Prof. Dr. Daisy Alexander, Head of Department School of Law, Christ (Deemed to be University), Lavasa, followed by other faculty members Dr. Sunil John, Dr. Alpana Akiolkar, Ms. Mehak Vohra, and Ms. Amrutha Valavi.

There were three competitions conducted during this event to inculcate and develop the Hindi language among the students. Hindi ka Utkarsh, “Development in Hindi,” a poster making competition was conducted along with Abhivyakti - “An open stage for expressing thoughts with reference to the concerned cause.” This was also followed by an essay writing competition in Hindi to express the views on the Hindi language. Our students Harshita Bharadwaj, Sneha Shokeen, Shubham Sankhala, Divjot Singh and Rahul Chatwal were enthusiastic participants for the events.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion.
