“Demystifying Research – Empowering Research Skills in Management Education"

The School of Commerce, Finance & Accountancy of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Pune Lavasa, campus conducted an expert talk on " Demystifying Research – Empowering Research Skills in Management Education”. This was scheduled on 15th September 2020 (9:30am -11:30am). The Speaker for this session was Dr Bhavani MR, who is the Principal of Surana College, Bangalore. The session commenced with understanding the basic components of research paper, which included objectives, scope, design and the practical approach towards it.


 The research process was well explained with the flow chart and each step in the chart had a practical example added to it which helped the students to understand the process. Implications of mergers and acquisitions on labour turnover in organisations was given emphasis. Customer complaints under marketing research and the conversation with employees for strategic management were few domains where the importance of objective and its relation to data analysis was clarified. The session ended with a Question session and experience from the audience followed by vote of thanks.

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM.
