Non-Teaching Staff - The Backbone of CHRIST

Non-teaching staff is the backbone of an institution. The entire army of sincere and dedicated non-teaching employees of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa bear testimony to this fact. They are the silent workers who work diligently brushing aside their personal life. They are an epitome of commitment and sincerity. They are humble enough to work behind the scene and not be in the limelight. Any event is incomplete without their unflinching support. Time is premium for everyone but these hardworking workers’ work is not defined by time. They work day and night smilingly to ensure that CHRIST lives up to the image which it upholds. All the non-teaching staff members have unquestionable faith in Director & Dean, Fr Jossy P George.

One can’t deny the valuable contribution of Manu Raj C R, Rijo Paul, Francis P T, Nalini Adhikarao, Ganesh Halande, Aniket Gaudam Dhiwar, Rajendra Dhotre, Mouli, Babu Joseph and Kanchan Tilasi in helping the college reach the pinnacle of success.

Apart from them some employees expressed their thoughts and feelings about working at CHRIST and consider it a place which shelters and shields them against all odds. They consider college as a safe haven.

Jince George expressed his admiration for the college and feels that hard work is the only key to success. While he anticipates the college to grow in leaps and bounds he is positive that soon CHRIST will carve a niche for itself as a promising college for MBA and under-graduate colleges. Jince is thoroughly happy working in the accounts section.

Sandip Ghadge has seen the college progress ever since it was established. He is a ready reckoner and can find solution to any problem at the spur of the moment. He knows the college inside out. He is modest enough to admit that everything is just a part of schedule and even during a holiday his work carries on. Sandip is just a phone call away for everyone. He feels that the college is just an extension of his home and feels solace in being a valuable part of the college.

It has been rightly said, `Sincerity thy name is Javed Khan’! With an ever smiling face, moving around briskly from one end to the other tending to the demands of the college, is just cake walk, for this efficient person. Javed has been instrumental in ensuring that everything happens at the right time and at the right place. He considers it to be a part of his routine and is extremely satisfied and happy to be of any help.

Visakh T J is the coolest of all and despite being on his toes round the clock, his energy is unparalleled. For him working throughout the day is just a routine. While the teachers were holidaying during the summer break, it was a regular usual day for him. Visakh feels good to be a valuable asset to the college donning multiple hats.

Durga Lakandri has been managing the front desk and reception with aplomb. She feels that her inspiration comes from Director’s faith in her and she leaves no stone unturned to contribute for the college in every possible way.

Sraddha Diwar has handled the admissions with great earnestness and enthusiasm. Her contribution in the admission process is highly commendable. She feels motivated by Director, Fr Jossy’s cooperation and trust in her capabilities. Sraddha is of the opinion that if an employee is constantly motivated by the management, any task can be accomplished with ease.

Sharanappa has just joined the accounts department. As a new employee he dealt not only with admission but also interacted with nearly every department. He is appreciative of everyone and finds Fr Jossy extremely supportive. In his brief interaction with the teaching fraternity Sharanappa found everyone very understanding and approachable.

Abhilash P K has come from IT department of the main campus in Bangalore. He finds the work culture conducive to learning and feels that the work ethics are well maintained and practiced by everyone.
