CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is one of the most recognized names in the country regarding higher education. It enjoys an exalted position in the minds of students who aspire to gain instruction from the crème de la crème institutes. The name of the University is synonymous with holistic development, and the quality of the alumni attests to this fact. With that said, we believe that it is essential to look back to our beginnings, to acknowledge our roots, and recognize where we came from to understand the monumentality of the growth that we at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa have had the privilege of experiencing.

Set in the picturesque city of Lavasa, the Campus of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) was established in 2014, with the inauguration of the Christ Institute of Management (CIM). The Christ Institute of Management, at that time, offered a single PGDM program, in which a total of 12 students enrolled. At this point, there were three members of faculty and four members of the administrative staff. They started with a vision in their hearts- to further the growth of the Institute into one of the best institutes of education in the country, if not the best. Their passion drove them forward and onto great heights and enabled them to scale numerous hurdles in order to lead the way for the growth of the Institute into becoming the behemoth it is today. This is perhaps best illustrated by the numbers- at present, the Campus has grown from offering a single PGDM program to offering six undergraduate, five postgraduate, and seven doctoral programs- the explosive growth in the short time span of just seven years. The increase in the staff and faculty count is no less impressive- from a measly seven to over two hundred- educators and benefactors who play an active role in shaping the community of tomorrow and molding the young and impressionable minds of the students of today into becoming the ideal citizens of tomorrow- both of the country and the globe.

While the numbers and the stories are impressive, we wish to say that we are just getting started. We are on a mission to provide the best education possible to tomorrow's residents and become the epitome of holistic education in the country and the globe. And so, we wish to thank every member of the CHRIST family for getting us to where the numbers put us and assure you that this is just a glimpse of what is to come. To all of our members, supporters, and well-wishers, we say this:

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. This was followed by an introduction about the resource persons by Ms Pretty Rose Sebastian & Mr Shreeyash Goel, Students of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics). The Head of the Department, Dr Vandana Bhagat addressed the session and welcomed the Resource persons. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATA SCIENCE, COMPUTATION AND SECURITY - IDSCS’22

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. Dr Samiksha Shukla welcomed the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Vice-Chancellor and the keynote speakers for the day and summarized forthcoming events of IDSCS'22.
