BUSINESS MARKETING – TRADE FAIR EXHIBITION
The expo visit activity was organized by students of the MBA marketing Department under the guidance of Prof Stanny Dias. The total number of students who attended the expo visit was 21. The marketing students from MBA visited the Globe-Tech engineering fair in Pimpri-Chinchwad which is annually held from May 20th to 22nd. There were 21 students from the specialization along with the faculty coordinator Prof. Stanny Dias. On 20th May, students left Lavasa at 12:30 PM and reached the engineering expo at 2:30 PM. From 3 PM to 4:45 PM, the students interacted with exhibitors from different companies and tried to understand the different aspects of B2B workflow.
Global-Tech Engineering Expo is a business-to-business industrial show focusing on engineering machinery, tools, automation, and robots. It is one of India's largest SME gatherings dedicated to engineering and manufacturing products and services. GEE's goal is to promote the Indian industry on an international level by bringing manufacturers and end-users together in this unique arena.
There were many companies that manufactured Chemical Process Machinery, Disposal Industry, Metal & Steel, Packaging Machinery & Equipment, Plastics Machinery & Equipment, Safety & Security Equipment, Testing & Measuring Instruments, Welding Machines, Equipment & Technologies, Computer Application & CAD / CAM Solutions, Storage Systems, Logistics & SCM, Laser Technology, Pumps & Valves, Manufacturing Aids, Power Tools and many more.
Students visited stalls of companies like Molygraph, Parmar, Lavanya Robotics, Big Zero technology, Marksys Integrators, Zortrax, Yeskolube India Private Limited, P M T technology, Energy Missions ltd, AMS3D Metrology Pvt. Ltd, Roots Pvt Ltd, Kawasaki etc…
They were able to understand many aspects of B2B like their marketing aspects, clientele base and how they maintain their clientele, and many other insights. The session ended with a debriefing session.
