MÉLANGE 2022 - An Inter Institutional Extravaganza

Mélange is a unique multi-disciplinary, inter-institutional festival which included a multitude of management, cultural, literary & theatre and e gaming events - held from 4th May 2022 to 9th May 2022. The fest consisted of events ranging from business and management to cultural events to literary & theatre to gaming & e-sports events.


The inauguration ceremony took place on 4th May 2022, it was graced by the presence of Dr Fr. Jossy P George, the Dean and Director, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, honorable chief guest Mr Parthiban, respected faculty members, external participants and students of the university. The fest was initiated by the Business events where we witnessed the various talents and abilities of participants being put to test in an assortment of perplexing events and challenges of a conflicting reality. The event saw nail-biting rounds, where participants were battling in a multitude of domains like Analytics, HRM, Finance, Marketing and Strategic Management. The IPL auction event had major participation and was intense and engaging. On the following days the Lit and Theatre, Cultural events took place which was conducted online. Participants enjoyed and had fun in E-gaming events. The event had both internal and external participants who gave their best in the well-crafted rounds designed by the event heads.


The promotions and fundraising teams brought in creative ideas ranging from promotional videos, banners and posters, to food stalls and sponsors. The teams worked in the draining heat and consistently put up a variety of stalls with delicious food, nachos salad, Mac & Cheese, Maggi, rooh afza, iced tea, etc are just a few to mention.

The event was sponsored in kind, in terms of outdoor media (banners) by local restaurants and in terms of technological visibility on the metaverse by Flam.


The event was executed directly online; but nonetheless, we also agree that Mélange ’22 was just the beginning of what CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus has to offer, and it was a remarkable experience in terms of hosting a flagship event as such.


Mélange aimed at bringing the talents of participants across various disciplines such as management, cultural, literary & theatre competitions, E-gaming and auctions under one platform. The event saw the participation of several institutions from all over the country. The students worked with zeal, came up with innovative ideas in designing the rounds for all the events and decorated the campus and stalls with colourful and creative banners. The event helped the students to inculcate managerial skills and make strategic plans for the smooth conduct of the event.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATA SCIENCE, COMPUTATION AND SECURITY - IDSCS’22

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
