Club Activity on 06 December 2025

The Week 11 Club Activity of the School of Business and Management – BBA, held on 6th December 2025 at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, marked a vibrant and engaging conclusion to the semester’s club cycle. Conducted between 10:30 AM and 12:20 PM across BBA classrooms and the recreational area of the Management Block, the event brought together 140 first- and second-year BBA students, supported by 14 student volunteers under the coordination of Ms. Devleena Banerjee. The session featured six diverse club activities, emphasizing experiential learning, collaboration, and holistic skill development.

A defining highlight of the event was the strong inter-club collaboration that enriched student learning. The Communicat Club and HRM Club jointly organized The Silent Ranking Game in Classroom 2401. This innovative non-verbal communication challenge required participants to arrange themselves according to given criteria without speaking. By relying solely on gestures, expressions, and body language, students gained first-hand insight into the power of non-verbal cues, teamwork, and clarity in group interactions. The activity effectively demonstrated how communication extends beyond words, a crucial lesson for future managers.

In Classroom 2400, the Finance Club collaborated with the Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Club to conduct the SMGQuest Finance Trading Simulation. Using an online trading platform, students managed virtual portfolios in response to simulated real-time market headlines such as earnings announcements and economic news. Finance students focused on risk assessment and price movements, while ED students applied strategic and entrepreneurial perspectives. This integration of finance and strategy enhanced students’ understanding of market dynamics and agile decision-making in uncertain environments.

Individual clubs also made impactful contributions. The SMPR Club’s Reflective Closing Session in Classroom 2402 emphasized introspection and forward planning. Through an anonymous fishbowl exercise, members shared key learnings and feedback in a safe, inclusive environment. This was followed by a reflective discussion on semester achievements and innovative ideas for the upcoming term, fostering a culture of openness, bonding, and collective ownership.

The Marketing Club transformed Classroom 2404 into a live creative agency during its Art Extravaganza Promotion session. Students worked hands-on to design Instagram reels and promotional strategies for an upcoming campus event. By engaging with trending audio, visual storytelling, and concise messaging, participants translated marketing theory into real-world digital content creation, gaining practical exposure to event marketing and social media strategy. Breaking away from classroom settings, the Analytics Club organized an Outdoor Team-Building Session in Classroom 2312’s adjoining recreational area. Through interactive games emphasizing coordination, communication, and quick thinking, members experienced a refreshing shift from screen-based analysis. The outdoor format boosted morale, energy levels, and team cohesion.

Finally, the MDQ Club conducted The Absurd Policy Advocacy Challenge in Classroom 2313. Participants were tasked with defending deliberately nonsensical policies after minimal preparation and facing intense cross-examination. This high-pressure exercise sharpened critical thinking, persuasive communication, composure under stress, and rapid rebuttal skills.Overall, the Week 11 Club Activity successfully balanced technical skill application with soft-skill development and team bonding. By blending simulations, creativity, reflection, and collaboration, the event reinforced the experiential learning ethos of the BBA program and provided a meaningful, engaging close to the semester’s club activities.
