The resource person for the session was Ms. Pillai Krishna Jaykumar, a UGC NET Qualified candidate (2024), who shared her experiences and practical insights regarding the examination process and preparation methods. As part of the CHRIST Language and Arts Network (CLAN) Research Forum, “Unfolding Research: Scholars at Work” was organised by the Department of English and Cultural Studies in collaboration with CLAN as an engaging academic platform for PhD scholars to present and discuss their ongoing research. Conceived as a space for intellectual exchange and collaborative learning, the forum brought together research scholars and faculty members in an atmosphere that encouraged critical reflection, dialogue, and constructive engagement. Jail Visit

The educational visit to Yerwada Central Jail, organized by the Legal Aid Committee, proved to be a highly enriching and transformative learning experience for the students of the 5th year LL.B. & LLM program. The visit was carefully planned and systematically executed with the objective of exposing law students to the practical realities of the criminal justice system and the functioning of correctional institutions in India. While classroom teaching provides students with theoretical knowledge regarding criminal law, prison administration, and constitutional rights, this visit enabled students to witness the actual implementation of these legal principles within a correctional setting. Such experiential learning plays a crucial role in shaping the professional understanding and ethical outlook of future legal practitioners. Research Day 2026

The Centre for Research organised Research Day 2025–26 on 14 May 2026 to recognise and celebrate the scholarly contributions of students who have published research papers, book chapters, or conference proceedings in Scopus-indexed journals during the academic year 2025–26. The event was attended by the Dean and Director, Associate Dean, faculty members, and students of the institution.  The programme commenced with a formal welcome, bringing together the academic community to acknowledge student achievement in research — an area of increasing institutional priority. The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organised an Entrepreneurship Bootcamp & Pitch Day on 4th and 5th May 2026. The session was conducted by Dr Prathu Bhajpai, who shared valuable insights and problem-solving techniques related to competitive examinations and placement aptitude tests.
