Jail Visit

The educational visit to Yerwada Central Jail, organized by the Legal Aid Committee, proved to be a highly enriching and transformative learning experience for the students of the 5th year LL.B. & LLM program. The visit was carefully planned and systematically executed with the objective of exposing law students to the practical realities of the criminal justice system and the functioning of correctional institutions in India. Proper gender segregation was maintained throughout the visit, wherein male students were assigned to observe male prison sections and female students were guided through female prison sections.
