“If Not Now, Then When?


The seminar titled “If Not Now, Then When? – Igniting the Entrepreneurial Spirit” was successfully organized by the Department of Statistics and Data Science and Computer Science in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), CHRIST University Pune Lavasa Campus, on 25 April 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Auditorium, Central Block. The event aimed to create entrepreneurial awareness among students and motivate them to explore innovation, leadership, and startup opportunities as viable career paths in today’s rapidly evolving world.

The keynote session was delivered by Dr. Resham Lohani, Associate Professor, School of Business and Management, CHRIST University Pune Lavasa Campus. The speaker brought a wealth of knowledge and practical insights into entrepreneurship, innovation, and business leadership. The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments who actively engaged in the discussions and activities conducted during the session. The event commenced with a formal welcome address introducing the objectives of the seminar and highlighting the importance of entrepreneurial thinking among students. The organizers emphasized that entrepreneurship is not limited to starting businesses but also involves creativity, problem-solving, adaptability, leadership, and the ability to identify opportunities in challenging situations.
