Bridging Horizons- Entrepreneur Development
The Centre for Academic & Professional Support (CAPS) organized a specialized educational event focused on "Entrepreneur Development". The institution hosted the session at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) in Bangalore, India. The entire program aligned with the center's core motto, "Optimising Learning and Harnessing Expertise". The organizers invited Mr. Kushal Bagchandani to serve as the primary guest speaker for the session.
The organizing committee executed a highly structured flow of events for the afternoon. The timeline commenced at 4:25 PM with a brief period designated for settling in. During this initial operational window, the students and the organizing team prepared the venue for the upcoming session. Promptly at 4:30 PM, the EMCEE started the formal Opening Ceremony. This introductory segment featured a traditional moment of silence, which the EMCEE followed with a formal welcome address to greet the assembled attendees.
At 4:35 PM, Ms. Mansha, acting in her official capacity as the CAPS Coordinator, delivered the Coordinator's Address to the audience. Immediately after her remarks, the main session began at 4:40 PM. This critical block of the event included a formal introduction of the featured guest. Following the introduction, Mr. Kushal Bagchandani delivered his keynote presentation detailing the core concepts of entrepreneur development. Kushal Bagchandani shared his personal transition from a student sitting in the same seats as the audience to becoming a successful business owner. This made the concept of entrepreneurship highly relatable. He shared some of his own early failures or roadblocks such as regulatory hurdles or rejected pitches and discussed the mental resilience required to pivot and keep pushing forward. He also spoke about running businesses in both India and the UAE, which required a deep understanding of different markets, legal compliances, and consumer behaviors. He discussed the challenges and strategies of scaling a business internationally. As the Founder & CEO of two ventures, he likely provided actionable advice on team management, decision-making, and the day-to-day realities of leading an organization. After the main presentation concluded, the event transitioned into an interactive segment at 5:15 PM. This specific portion functioned as a Question and Answer (Q&A) session, where Mr. Kushal and the audience engaged in direct and collaborative communication. The event concluded on schedule at 5:30 PM, at which time the Closing Ceremony began. During this final segment, the EMCEE, or a designated team member, delivered the formal Vote of Thanks.
