On August 27, 2026, at 5:00 PM, the campus Banquet Hall transformed into a vibrant, welcoming space as the Centre for Academic and Professional Support (CAPS) hosted its annual Meet and Greet. Designed as a cross-cohort orientation and integration event, this gathering brought together newly admitted first-year students alongside their senior peers from the second and third years. The primary focus of the evening was to ease the transition of incoming juniors into university life, facilitate early peer mentorship opportunities, and foster an inclusive, highly supportive campus community right from the start. The evening officially commenced with a warm welcome address from Meeting Coordinator Vishal Raj, who outlined the event agenda and highlighted the immense value of building strong inter-batch connections. He emphasized that creating an open, collaborative space allows knowledge, academic tips, and shared experiences to flow freely between student cohorts. Following his introduction, Meeting Mentor Anjali GM took the floor to inspire the crowd. These handwritten letters were then sealed and collected for safe archiving by CAPS, to be returned to the students at a future academic milestone as a meaningful keepsake measuring their early vision and growth. The CAPS Meet and Greet wrapped up with heartfelt closing expressions of gratitude from Meeting Coordinator Vishal Raj and Meeting Mentor Anjali GM, who thanked all participants for their enthusiastic energy and active involvement.
