Mr Rao was also appreciative of the eco system, infrastructure and facilities offered to students in this beautiful campus. He articulated that such factors contribute to the success of a college.

He began his lecture by going down the memory lane to cherish memories of school days and mentioned that such moments offer a much needed break from the routine life which revolve around industry or customer relations etc.

Mr Rao narrated some personal anecdotes and shared lessons learnt from the industry. He expressed the need to train students for practical experience and inspire them to be well prepared for real life situations. He mentioned that he always advises the new professionals not to shy away from working hard. Their knowledge of facts or an analysis of basics will be much better if they work hard and explore in a given field.

Mr Rao also mentioned how students go through an evolved process of selection and their thoughts and deeds decide where they wish to go in life. As a very practical advice he informed the teachers to engage their students constructively and creatively. They should be given candid feedback and be taught how to do things differently. Mr Rao further pointed that choice of subjects is important to form a base but real learning comes from experience. Despite excellent PPTs, data research on various aspects of an industry, the students have to indulge in an in-depth study of the market and industry.

Mr Rao strongly asserted that belief in people should never be wavered. Despite challenges or differences communication should be maintained. According to him mutual respect is paramount and one must never doubt good intentions of people. He further motivated the teachers to instill faith in students while being firm and fair in their dealings. Mr Rao also stressed upon the need to nurture value system and ensure it is followed to the core. Mr Rao spoke in a calm and composed tone and answered all the questions during the interactive session at the end of his talk.

In all it was quite an informative and an enlightening talk. The teachers thanked him profusely. The corporate talk was arranged by CRM, Gp Cpt JK Pandey and he gave a vote of thanks on behalf of Director & Dean, Fr Jossy and the entire teaching staff.
