Day 6 of Brandits 3.0




A street play by Team C marked the beginning of events on Day 6 of Brandits 3.0 on 1st August 2019. Team A took a day off for a change. Whereas Team B undertook an array of activities such as Initiated a Sanitary Napkin Usage Campaign, Celebrated Parent’s Day, Prompted Recyclable bags, Gave flowers made from old newspapers and old sheets remembering Yorkshire Day, Assisted Non-teaching staff in cleaning, Conducted stress relief activity on white board, Distributed biscuits and chocolates to kids, Imprinted tattoo on students’ hand related to love and spreading happiness, Appreciated and Promoted the concept of Brandits to former VC, Fr Thomas, Cleaned the kitchen with Gangaram Bhaiya, Cooked as well, Hugged everyone expressing universal brotherhood, Showcased skills of trust, team building, hierarchical structure in an organization by making a pyramid, Performed yoga while wearing business formals to convey the importance of Yoga in Corporate Culture, Conducted Digital Marketing campaign for Equality, worked for the cause of Assam flood, Save water, Save electricity, and Motion poster to relax, Inspired everyone to Pray for Assam, Counselled non-teaching staff, Offered head massage, Had arm wrestling with different students and above all Complimented others for no reason and in-turn brought smile on their face along with confidence.

Team C was unique in its own way as they Offered chai to all the Tais, Wiped the corridors while the housekeeping staff drank tea, Celebrated 'Girlfriend’s Day' irrespective of gender, Collected rain water and gave it to housekeeping staff for cleaning Water Tank, Had “Chai Time” with Gangaram’s children, Enhanced knowledge about computer literacy among the kids, Helped support staff in cleaning utensils, Helped in cooking and serving evening snacks, Promoted “caring for others” and “spreading happiness” through some genuine activities, Initiated “Drinking water challenge”, Promoted usage of helmets, Dropped support staff till their respective home in their car, Gifted all essential infant-care kit to a tai who is on maternal leave, Helped in arranging books in order in book shelves, Promoted Brandits to an ex-faculty - Jyoti Ma'am, Helped in collecting garbage and Pushed a vehicle that broke down.
Team D promoted Heart Badges Awareness Campaign in order to save life, Distributed Thank You Cards, Campaigned to spread love and affection among students, continued Sharing is caring Campaign among UG students and spoke on moral values, Shared biscuits, Worked for Blood donation awareness and Food is precious Campaign, Offered warm coffee to students and Encouraged everyone to recall memories with the help of coins or Hide and Seek biscuits.
2nd August’s events include a Street Play by Team D during the breakfast break, beginning of  Tetrathlon Championship at 3:00 PM and submission of BrandMash - Dubsmash Video - before 11:49 PM. In the meantime Raffle and Movie Tickets Sale and Rain Marathon Registration is still going on. Tetrathlon Championship will also have a Rain Yoga Session towards the end with special provision for the safety and security of students as they take part in Tetrathlon Championship. So, with nearly 179 hours to go or less the sporting spirit still continues!
