Law Aspirants Unwind During Fresher’s Day
The School of Law, CHRIST, Lavasa organized its Fresher’s Day on 17th August 2019 in the Management Block, CIML from 6 PM onwards. Director & Dean, Fr Jossy P George, Academic Coordinator, Fr Arun Antony, students and faculty members were present to witness a fun filled evening that began amidst loud cheer. The animated anchoring by Vaishnavi Rastogi and Maneesh Mahinvith won everyone’s heart.
The theme of the Fresher’s party was ‘Arabian Nights’. The name of the event was “Laylat Almuhamin”, it means `Lawyer’s Night’. The program helped the students to unwind and it was impressively organized by the law aspirants and for the law aspirants.
After a formal welcome the program began with gusto. All the students looked fabulous as they were immaculately dressed according to the theme and secretly wished to win the best dressed award.
Fr Jossy George addressed the enthusiastic crowd and wished them all the best for a memorable evening. His words of appreciation and encouragement touched everyone to the core.
Then Reema and Brinda sang melodiously and mesmerized everyone with their vocal skills. The first round for Mr And Ms Fresher was conducted in the form of a game. The participants were cheered by the crowd. It was followed by a scintillating dance performance by Seyon and group. Then some more rounds were conducted for the coveted title; Mr and Ms Fresher. Sahil Singh and his troupe gave a soulful rendition of a popular song and it got loud applause. In the meantime, Shrey and his team won everyone’s applause by a dance performance on a foot tapping number.

Finally, the results for Mr and Ms Fresher were announced and the winners were Maneesh and Astha respectively. Shubham was adjudged as Mr Well Dressed whereas Sandhya and Adhira were declared as Ms Well Dressed. Sataurpa and Nikhil were the emcees. The volunteers were Monish, Sheejee, Sunidhi and Naveen. The evening ended with a vote of thanks and it was followed by dinner and dance. The entire program was efficiently coordinated by Adv Saimy Abraham and Adv Apurva Sharma.
