Gully Cricket in Amphitheatre

It rained, it poured, it drizzled and the downpour was incessant but the players were not afraid of being caught in the rain so didn't retrace their steps in the corridors. Match 1 of Gully Cricket was played between Team A Vs Team D in the Amphitheatre, Management Block, Lavasa on 5th August 2019 as part of Brandits 3.0.
After the success of Rain Marathon a day before rain did not deter their spirits and despite rainfall they continued to strike the ball and made runs. The fielding was amazingly superb as they slipped and slided to catch the ball or prevented it from going beyond their reach. All the students were driven by a desire to score as many runs as possible within limited overs. The captains coaxed, instructed, inspired and motivated their respective teams to score enough to have an edge over the other team. Director, Fr Jossy George also played a few shots amidst loud cheer. The other students and teachers were lined up in the corridors to cheer for the participating teams.
