Orientation Program For Law Students
As part of week long ongoing orientation program an ice breaking session
was conducted for Law students on 29 July 2019 in Central Block,
Lavasa. It was quite successful and helped them to feel at ease in the
new environment.
On 30th July 2019 the first year students of the Department of Law, CHRIST, Lavasa took part in an inspirational guidance session conducted by Mr Jibrael Jose.
The session was interactive in nature wherein the students were encouraged to participate in various activities. The activities fostered team spirit and harmony among the students.
The theme was 'Together We Can Achieve More' and an entire day was spent exploring various methods to justify the theme. The students were divided into various groups and thereby they were familiarised to the cultural and geographical versatility amongst themselves.The group activities ranged from games and discussions to arts and theater.
As the session progressed the students began to feel comfortable, they were more receptive to suggestions and took part in the discussions with an open mind. As part of discussion the students understood the need for balance in life. Certain concepts were clarified and they were deeply engrossed in the activities.
It was brought to their knowledge that coordination and a higher degree of organisational skills are inevitable to be one up in the present scenario. The students were also advised to nurture a spirit of healthy competition, deep sense of commitment and sheer hard work to achieve success, through team building exercises.

The students felt connected to each other while they took part in group activities and it was a fruitful experience. The session ended with students presenting an array of activities which showcased their talent in the presence of Director, Fr Jossy George. The session gave them a wonderful opportunity to explore their innerself while it provided moments of self actualisation.
