Countdown For Grand Finale Has Begun
With nearly 38 hours
to go for the Grand finale the
countdown has begun and everyone is geared up for their final performances to
score marks for their team. On 7th August 2019 Gully Cricket’s
final match was played between Team C Vs Team D between 1:40 PM to 2:10 PM in
the Amphitheater, Management Block, Lavasa.
As part of grand finale the students have to
prepare some Surprise Tasks and hence
assignments have been assigned pertaining to the same. Each team has to describe
the Brand Equity of their team through two slides keeping in mind their
contribution since beginning of Brandits 3.0. They are not entitled to use any
existing brand name, they have to design their own logo and show their creativity
by giving it a meaningful caption / tagline. The students are also expected to
show the extent to which they publicized their respective team among the UG students
and Lavasa public and how they managed to achieve their target of spreading Brand
Awareness. This activity also includes exhibiting the attributes which are
associated with their team with specific reference to their Brand Identity.
Mad-Adv is another event
open for competition. Each team must have minimum eight and maximum
twelve members. The time limit for their performance is five minutes. The participants
will be judged on the basic concept of their advertisement and teamwork along
with their ability to attract attention of the audience. Some points have been allotted
for voice modulation, their ability to market their product with minimum
efforts and the overall appeal of the advertisement. The students have been instructed
to refrain from display of obscenity, violence, prejudice, defamation etc. in
the advertisement.
Stand-Up Comedy is often an
instant success so it has also been included as part of the competition. It is an
individual competition and the time limit is 5-6 minutes. The participants will be judged on
the basis of content, fluency, originality, presentation and above all sense of
humor. The students have to ensure that decency is maintained throughout the
presentation and nothing derogatory is displayed through words or deeds.
The final deadline to submit Brand Equity
presentation is 06:00 AM on 8th August 2019. The other two
activities will be performed onstage during the Grand Finale on 8th
August 2019.
