INAUGURATION OF CSA INITIATIVE “MAANAVEE”

International Women's Day is observed every year on 8th March 2022 to celebrate the achievements of women at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.


The Day celebrates the progress made towards achieving gender equality and empowerment of women and also critically reflects on these accomplishments and strives for a greater momentum towards not just gender equality but gender parity worldwide. Our aim this year was to spread awareness about the significance of menstrual hygiene.



This year a few Volunteers from CSA, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus decided to observe International Women’s Day on 8th March 2022. On this special occasion, the CSA team members planned and inaugurated “MAANAVEE”. The event was held at the Quadrangle at the Central Block and commenced at 4:40 PM with a Classical - Bharatnatyam dance performance by Sakshi Varma. This was followed by the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony by our Dean and Director Dr Fr Jossy P George, Col (Dr) V M P Thomas and Dr Arundathi Naik, thus formally inaugurating Manavee. Fr Jossy Director then addressed the audience and complimented the volunteers for their initiative. CSA volunteer Jai Sankar explained the concept and aim of our new initiative Manavee to all those present at the quadrangle.

The CSA initiative “MAANAVEE” was successfully inaugurated on 8th March 2022 on International Women’s Day.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. This was followed by an introduction about the resource persons by Ms Pretty Rose Sebastian & Mr Shreeyash Goel, Students of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics). INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATA SCIENCE, COMPUTATION AND SECURITY - IDSCS’22

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. Dr Samiksha Shukla welcomed the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Vice-Chancellor and the keynote speakers for the day and summarized forthcoming events of IDSCS'22.
