On the event of the Alumni Meet, the Christ University Pune-Lavasa Campus continued its 10-year anniversary celebrations with insightful sessions and interactive discussions. The day commenced with an address by the Head of the Department (HOD) of Data Science, followed by engaging interactions with alumni, including a notable alumnus from the first batch of the campus. The event aimed to provide students with a deeper understanding of the challenges and expectations of the corporate and academic worlds.

The HOD warmly welcomed the alumni and students, setting the tone for the day by emphasizing the importance of alumni interactions in shaping the professional aspirations of current students. Alumni shared their experiences regarding both positive and challenging aspects of their time at  Lavasa. Some spoke about how the campus prepared them for real-world challenges, while others discussed the difficulties they faced as they transitioned into corporate and industrial settings.

They also shared insights into their current roles, with notable contributions including:

• Bala Gangadhar Reddy : A passionate educator, Bala Sir spoke about his journey from being a student to becoming a professor at the same campus. He highlighted the rewarding nature of teaching and the fulfillment it brings.

• Naived George Eapen: Having the unique distinction of being a Christ University alumnus twice, Naived Sir shared his experiences as both a student and professor. He discussed the importance of forming meaningful connections and understanding students’ perspectives.

3. Preparing for the Real World

Alumni provided valuable insights into the skills and attributes expected from students when they enter the workforce. Key takeaways included:

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion.
