The Avian Allies stall, set up in collaboration with the Department of Languages, showcased the club’s love for birds and wildlife. It featured a variety of nature-inspired items for sale, including postcards, bookmarks, and stickers. The postcards, which featured beautiful bird illustrations, were particularly popular. Visitors could purchase postcards with handwritten messages, adding a personal touch to the products. The combination of artistic designs and thoughtful notes made the postcards a key feature of the stall. The bookmarks and stickers, also nature-themed, proved popular with the visitors, students and staff, who appreciated their unique designs. These items offered visitors a chance to take home a memorable piece of the anniversary celebrations.
The atmosphere at the stall was lively and welcoming, with student volunteers engaging with visitors, answering questions, and sharing their knowledge about birdwatching and conservation. The volunteers’ enthusiasm created an inviting space where people felt encouraged to learn more about birds and nature. The personality test served as an excellent conversation starter, allowing participants to bond over their results and discuss the fascinating world of birds. It became clear that the stall was more than just a place to buy nature-themed products; it was a space that fostered community interaction and curiosity about the natural world.
