A Befitting Start Marks The Beginning Of Brandits 3.0

It has been rightly said that 'A task well begun is half done!' Undoubtedly, flash mob dance performed on 29th July 2019 was the first of its kind. It caught everyone’s attention. An impeccable benchmark has been set for the entire session. Despite exams the students managed to take out time to plan, rehearse and present a thrilling flash mob dance. It showed their commitment towards taking active part in a program.

All the teams devised ways and means of coming up with new ideas to have an edge over the others. The corridors came alive with enthusiastic students moving round with an aim, a purpose and an exciting idea to fetch points for their respective teams.  The moments which stole the show were genuine gestures of care and concern for each other.

Team A was extremely considerate towards the participants. Since flash mob coincided with breakfast time, so they prepared sandwiches for the students as a noble gesture. It was a perfect and an impressive way to show their sportsmanship and comradeship. They also tried to put a smile on the face to spread joy and happiness and were uniformly dressed in green or purple.

Team B did not lag behind and initiated save tigers’ campaign to mark International Tiger’s Day. They displayed black and golden-yellow tiger stripes on their fists and it fetched them some points. Their dress code was unique in nature and it represented `Yimg Yang’ and conveyed a hidden message that for every devil there is an angel. They went an extra mile and counselled and comforted finance department students who were a bit stressed by simply talking to them. Team B got some points for surprise coffee and chocolate. Learning is not just limited to text books so the team depicted business development through mergers. In an effort to win more points the team members cleaned the area near the hostel and collected all dried leaves and thus promoted save environment campaign.
Team C won everyone’s heart by asking students and teachers alike to present a balloon to anyone of their choice with a surprise message inside. The expressions on reading the secret message was priceless and it was successfully captured by the team. They were dressed in shades of blue and even convinced faculty members to wear a dress in similar colour. It was indeed a very unique idea.
Team D came up with an innovative idea of clicking pictures with faculty members, who held their poster/motto. They even went a step ahead and clicked a picture with opponent team members and convinced everyone that working in harmony with others is also a way of life. They were dressed in white which represents peace. As a good will gesture they went around hugging members of other teams and it cemented the bond between them and the rest. They also displayed their poster on TV screen which conveyed a message for everyone. The team strongly believes in working for a social cause hence they gave a speech on anti-bullying and pasted posters in classrooms to spread the message of peace and brotherhood.
The scores are being given considering the complexity, creativity, and uniqueness of the ideas.

30th July’s events included a Street Play by Team A during the lunch break and Rain Marathon registration.
