CHRIST, Lavasa Introduces Undergraduate And Post Graduate Courses
Lau Tzu has rightly said that `a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step’. CHRIST (Deemed to be university), Lavasa is all set to welcome students for its undergraduate and post graduate courses. The students who have chosen to graduate from CHRIST will be warmly welcomed tomorrow, 6th July 2019. It is a fact that Choice is the most powerful tool which an individual has. Every choice one makes shuts some doors and opens infinite number of doors. Everyone has the power to change the direction of his/her life at any given point of time. The courses being offered at CHRIST, Lavasa are BA - LLB (Honours) and BBA - LLB (Honours), five-year integrated law programs by The School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) (SLCU), Lavasa.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Analytics is also offered by the Department of Management Studies. The three year programme (6 Semesters) will provide students with the opportunity for interdisciplinary learning through various generic electives from the streams of Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Law, Media Studies, Hotel Management and Computer Applications.
The college offers a three-year B Com programme in Financial Analytics which has been divided into six semesters and is designed as per the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) model curriculum prescribed by UGC.
MA Business Economics or the postgraduate course in Business Economics, spanning four semesters, is the flagship programme of the Department of Economics with intensive specializations in areas of finance and management.
BSc Data Science is also offered. It is a 3-year course designed to prepare graduates who can conduct data-driven investigations, and conduct visual and advanced analytics by acquiring and managing data of all types.
MSc in Data Science is a two year programme with four semesters. This programme aims to provide opportunity to all candidates to master the skill sets specific to data science with research bent.
So the students are all set for a new life which is going to cost them their comfort zone and their sense of direction. But it will not deter them from their ultimate goal.
