MAGNIFICAT 2021

"The mood was lit, the spirit were up. That night, we had a magical time, a magnificent celebration at our beautiful little world of Lavasa''

This is CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus celebrated Magnificat on 18th December 2021 to embrace new beginnings and start afresh with a heart full of hopes and a mind full of strength and determination.


Magnificat 2021 started at 6:00 PM in Central Campus of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus with a lovely welcome note by two hosts. This was the inauguration of the event with a trailer video & teaser video shown to the audience. It was continued by Carols by our university choir on an online platform. Director's address by Dr Fr Jossy P George and we had an Offline carol by the choir team then there was an interactive game were emcees asked the audience questions about Christmas which were enthusiastically answered by faculty and students. It was followed by a Band performance by QUAFILA Band. Later we had Carols sung by the Faculty. The emcee narrated a Christmas story after the faculty's performance. Thereafter, we had a Band performance by Band LAHN and Christmas games followed by a play on the topic “The Joy of Giving and Christmas Trivia”. There was a Performance by Band OCTET followed by Band COFFEE STAINs performance. The Last Band performance was done by Band RM. After this, there was an Instrumental Performance. After all this, there was a fiery dance performance ensured by ‘Mistletoe’ one of the college band. The event ended with a sweet Vote of thanks. Towards the end everyone danced to songs taking back home a positive Christmas spirit. There was a Food stall and an Art stall also put up.


The celebrations included nonstop rhythmic performances by the choir where multiple bands of our University showcased their talent and made the entire event a joyful and warm experience. The celebration also included dance performances from the cultural team where dancers brought the magic of Christmas and lit the campus with their energy. The staff and students were completely spellbound with the Christmas gratitude. Christmas was celebrated with religious gaiety and fervor. Magnificat was celebrated with fervor on the university premises. The day was specially organized, keeping in mind its sanctity and relevance. The students presented an impressive array of programs.


The celebration came to an end with the DJ where the entire CHRIST family became one with music. The entire celebration went live on YouTube; this celebration was a message to the world that we reunite amidst the chaos and keep moving forward with strength and confidence, no matter what life throws at us.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATA SCIENCE, COMPUTATION AND SECURITY - IDSCS’22

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. Dr Samiksha Shukla welcomed the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Vice-Chancellor and the keynote speakers for the day and summarized forthcoming events of IDSCS'22.
