GUEST LECTURE ON TOOLS & TECHNIQUES OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING
The School of Commerce, Finance, and Accountancy organized a Guest Lecture on Tools & Techniques Of Management Accounting on 17th December 2021 in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
The session started with the opening speech by Ms Pritisha Sarma (3 BCOM A). followed by the introduction of the resource person: Ms Ashna. Then the speaker started her lecture on Budget and its various concepts, advantages, and importance in the working of the business.
This also included things like features and types of Budget. Then she explained to us in-depth the steps involved in budget control followed by the explanation of the budget officer and budget committee. Then the speaker explained to all the participants the major advantages and limitations of budget in an economy and hence its importance in today's day-to-day life and operation to get the maximum output.
Lastly, the speaker gave a lesson on various topics like operating budget, non-monetary budget, and fixed and variable budget. The session was then concluded by a question session by the participants to the speaker. Finally, Palak Ambastha (3 BCOM B) gave a vote of thanks to the Guest speaker for her immense effort.
The guest speaker’s presentation and persuasion skills were excellent. The audience learned a lot from her on how to present technical terms in simple and clear tables. The audience also learned about Budget its importance in today’s world. Thanks to this new information, the audience too has become a part of the quick-growing financial world. It is the department’s belief that everyone would drill down deeper in this topic and will explore more with the help of the strong foundation which the guest speaker has provided.
