SYMPOSIUM ON FINTECH: INDIA PERSPECTIVE & 3F: FUTURE FINTECH FRAMEWORK

The School of Commerce, Finance, and Accountancy organized a symposium on Fintech: India Perspective & 3F: Future Fintech Framework on 17th December 2021 in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.


The session comprised around 100 participants and commenced with a one-minute prayer. Soon, Ms Soumya Singh, the emcee of the event took over and went on to hand over the mike to Dr Vandana Bhagat, the head of the department, school of commerce, Finance & accountancy, who bestowed the welcome address.


Then Dr Fr Arun Antony, the academic coordinator, continued the event by giving the presidential address. The session finally began as Mr Kartik Swaminathan, the founder at Fintastech. in & author of Future Fintech Framework, imparted his insights, knowledge, and experience to the participants. He started by exploring the evolution of FinTech in India and stating his example around NPCI and its product suite. He then shared trends, along with a framework for growth and innovation in Fintech & digital space. This included the opportunities, skills required, and the roles & career opportunities involved.


The session came to a pause with a short break. During the second half, Mr Kartik Swaminathan continued to discuss sections 2 and 3 of the book, which spoke about the unique frameworks which constitute the 3F and the 4 key aspects in FinTech. This involved discussing the logical architecture and the 4 key aspects; Fintech Players, Income cost and pricing paradigm, regulation & compliance, roles, and career opportunities; which then put the session to an end. He also discussed case studies based on the industry perspective


The vote of thanks was presented by Dr Mahesh Kumar T, the organizer of the symposium, who commended the speaker for his immense knowledge and effort. “The understanding of the knowledge is what is more valued than the knowledge itself” it's one of his best words during the symposium to our students.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATA SCIENCE, COMPUTATION AND SECURITY - IDSCS’22

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
