WEBINAR ON RESILIENT LEADERSHIP IN BANKING & FINANCE SECTOR POST PANDEMIC PERSPECTIVES

The School of Business and Management (BBA) organized a webinar on “Resilient Leadership in Banking & Finance sector Post Pandemic perspectives” at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus on 26th Nov 2021.



The guest speaker, Shri Manas Ranjan Mohanty, Managing Director, Bhartiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran (P) Ltd (Subsidiary of Reserve Bank of India) expressed his insights on how banking and finance sector has survived the difficult times during pandemic. He informed that during the pandemic, the focus of the government was not on the health of the banking surplus, but was actually on how to keep the economy alive.

The various aspects of resilient leadership were elaborated with the help of 3 - C such as communication, commitment, and collaboration strategies. The speaker also elaborated an understanding of the 5 shiv-sutras that must be followed by the leaders.


During the session, the speaker quoted the role of protagonist Dr Bernard Rieux from the famous novel ‘The Plague’ by Albert Camus.

Lastly, the speaker stressed on the fact that the challenges such as pandemics will keep coming and mankind has the resilience to survive out of these challenges. All the resilient leaders need to focus on the fighting crisis by developing common decency i.e., being sympathetic to each other, being respectful to each other, being helpful and supportive to each other for growth.


The importance of global collaboration in facing a series of challenges by mankind was argued by the speaker. Finally, the session was open for discussion, and queries from participants were addressed by the guest speaker eloquently.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM.
