Inaugural Ceremony & Aarambh 2.O

The SSA Inaugural Ceremony and AARAMBH 2.0, held on 6th October 2025 at the Central Block Auditorium, marked a vibrant and purposeful commencement to the academic year’s student engagement activities. The event served as a dual celebration—formally inaugurating the School Science Association (SSA) and launching the second edition of AARAMBH, a platform designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and leadership among students. 

The inaugural ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp, a symbolic gesture representing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom, followed by an invocation that set a reverent tone for the proceedings. The School of Science Coordinator extended a warm welcome address, acknowledging the presence of dignitaries, faculty members, and students, and emphasizing the significance of active participation in academic and co-curricular pursuits. 

Distinguished speakers, including the Head of the Department (HOD), Reverend Fathers, the Associate Dean, and the Chief Guest, delivered insightful addresses that motivated the students to embrace innovation, teamwork, and intellectual curiosity. Their words underscored the importance of holistic education, encouraging students to balance academic rigor with extracurricular engagement.


 A major highlight of the ceremony was the introduction and oath-taking of the SSA office bearers and core members. This segment formally recognized student leaders and defined their roles and responsibilities in steering the association’s initiatives throughout the year. The solemn oath affirmed their commitment to uphold the values of dedication, integrity, and academic excellence. 

Following this, a comprehensive presentation of the planned activities for the academic year was shared, outlining upcoming workshops, scientific discussions, and outreach programs. This segment provided clarity and direction, ensuring that all members understood the vision and objectives of the SSA. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all contributors and attendees, and the rendition of the Christ Anthem, which instilled a sense of unity, pride, and institutional belonging among participants. 

The atmosphere of formal induction gracefully transitioned into an energetic celebration as AARAMBH 2.0 commenced. Designed as a platform to showcase student talent and team spirit, the event featured a spirited competition among four dynamic teams—Eternals, Titans, Legions, and Recursions. Each team presented a vibrant sequence of performances, including dance, singing, and skits, demonstrating exceptional creativity, coordination, and stagecraft. The enthusiasm and friendly rivalry among participants reflected the institution’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals. 

After an engaging series of performances, Legions emerged as the winners, followed by Eternals as first runner-up and Titans as second runner-up. The results symbolized no only artistic excellence but also the spirit of collaboration and sportsmanship that characterized the event. 

In essence, the SSA Inaugural Ceremony and AARAMBH 2.0 successfully blended formal induction, cultural expression, and student empowerment. The dual event stood as a testament to the institution’s efforts in fostering leadership, teamwork, and academic engagement, leaving participants inspired and motivated for the year ahead. Together, these initiatives set a promising tone for an enriching academic journey rooted in unity, creativity, and excellence.

CHRIST values instill an attitude of gratitude in the students and despite leaving the portals of the college they never fail to express their appreciation and keep the college well informed about their achievements. It is always a pleasure to hear from ex-students and Director & Dean, Dr Fr Jossy George applauds the academic and professional success of the students in and out of the campus.
