Book Review Competition

The Book Review Competition (2021) was conducted on October 7,2021 at 2:15 PM in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. It started with a welcome note by Mehak Sharma. The event was attended by around 77 students. The judge for the Book Review competition was Ms Andrea Rodrigues.


The welcome speech was followed by book review presentations. The participants were selected by mentors from different groups. Each participant was allotted 7-8 minutes for his/her presentation followed by 2 minutes of Q & A session between the judge and the participant. This was followed by an introductory note about Ms Andrea Rodrigues. Finally, Ms Andrea announced the results of the competition. The winner of the competition was Sabari Majumder. Vyshak R was the runner-up. The session ended with the Vote of Thanks by A Visak.


The book review competition helped in making the students understand the kind of ideas that flow behind a book, different writing styles, and how one can critically assess a book. The feedback given by the participants proved that most of them considered it to be learning-oriented, well organized, and paced. The student organizers were appreciated for their sincere efforts.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM.
