POSTER COMPETITION ON ‘RELEVANCE OF GANDHI’S TEACHINGS IN MODERN TIMES’

The Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with a poster design competition on 02/10/2021 at 9:30 AM in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa campus. It started with a welcome note by Mr Shivahari G. The event was attended by almost 50 students.


After the welcome speech, Reverend Fr Dr Jossy P George addressed the gathering with his thoughts and insights on Gandhi’s teachings. It was followed by a speech on ‘What we can learn from Gandhi’ by Dr Parameshwaran, HoD, BBA, SBM, Lavasa campus. 1st round results of the poster design competition were announced by Dr Jayant Mahajan. After the declaration of 1st round’s results the winners of 1st round explained their thoughts and insights on their respective posters. The final round’s results and concluding remarks were given by Dr Becky Thomas, HoD, School of Business & Management, Lavasa campus. First round winners were Anukool Nigalye (MBA) and Ameya Anand (BBA).

The session ended with the Vote of Thanks by Mr Shivahari G.
It was an interesting and informative session. It gave a brief insight on Gandhi’s teachings and philosophy. The creativity and effort of each student was reflected in the posters. The feedback given by the participants proved that most of them considered it to be very interesting as well as thoughtful. All the participants were appreciated for their sincere efforts.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM.
