Talk on National Education Policy - 2020

The talk on the National Education Policy 2020 was organized on 9th October 2021, 12:00 PM at  CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. 


It started with a welcome speech by our Dean and Director Dr Fr Jossy P George. The guest of honor was Dr V N Rajasekharan Pillai, the Vice-Chancellor of Somaiya Vidyavihar University and the Provost of Somaiya Vidyavihar and Somaiya Ayurvihar Mumbai. The workshop was attended by almost 100 students and faculty members through an online and offline platform. The welcome speech was followed by an introduction of the speaker given by MBA HoD Dr Becky Mary Thomas where she spoke about his accomplishments. 


The speaker addressed the various changes implemented in the National Education Policy 2020 where he stressed on how the policy envisions a wide, multidisciplinary, and holistic approach. Undergraduate education with a customizable curriculum, unique topic combinations, vocational integration, and numerous entry and departure points with appropriate certification are available.

The session was followed by a question-answer session where students and faculty participated actively. It ended with a vote of thanks by Sanaya Mathew. Overall, it was a valuable session for all.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
