Guest talk on “Insights from Entrepreneurial Journey”

The informative guest talk on “Insights from Entrepreneurial Journey” started with a welcome speech by Arathy Vinod on October 8, 2021, at 3:30 PM in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. The guest of honour was Mr Saad Jamal, Founder, and CEO, Serri Ed-tech. The event was attended by almost 130 students.



After the welcome speech, Mr Saad Jamal gave a brief introduction about himself. He explained how did he come up with the idea of a start-up and worked hard to make it a reality. He also added how at the age of 20 years, he raised funds from Harvard Alum Mr U.R. Unnithan, a serial entrepreneur based in Malaysia, and incorporated Serri Tech Solutions Private Limited. He also told that his start-up is recognized by Startup India, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion under Ministry of Commerce and Industry. He further added that he was one among the top 20 teams in the 100 Prospects Global Tech Competition judged by Steve Wozniak, Apple Co-founder. The talk was followed by a question-answer session where students participated actively. It ended with a vote of thanks by Debopriya Chatterjee.

Mr Saad’s talk about his entrepreneurial journey was truly inspiring and also created awareness among budding entrepreneurs about the challenges while planning and going through the process of setting up a start-up.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM.
