IGNITE 2021

IGNITE ’21 is an intra departmental management fest that is organised exclusively for the first - year students of the School of Business and Management. The tagline representing the fest is “Kindle the Festing Spirit” - which also speaks for the intentions of this event; to challenge the young minds and introduce them to the culture of events and festing. The result of this will be a heightened ability to brainstorm and come up with fresh, authentic ideas paired with much needed techniques. It took place from 06/09/2021 – 07/09/2021

The fest comprises 6 events across the various domains of business and management, viz.:

  • 007 - The Best Manager Event (Individual)
  • Manage Me If You Can! - The Best Management Team Event (Team of 3)
  • Impresario Unchained - The Best Entrepreneur Event (Individual)
  • The Bazaar - The Marketing & Public Relations Management Event (Team of 2)
  • FURY - The Human Resources Management Event (Team of 2)
  • Finside Job - The Financial Management Event (Team of 2)

Each participating class has existing clans they are divided in (2 per class) - teams had been formed representing their respective clans in each event.

The organising committee comprised of the recently selected CUSBMA Student Body 2021 -22.

The event saw 236 (100% participation) participants from all 4 classes (8 clans) of the batch of 2021-24 BBA (Business Analytics).

The winners and runner-ups for each event are as follows:


The Best Clan (overall) award was given to Alexandria and Ephesus for being winner and runner up respectively making Amaan Jan (1BBA B) the Best Leader and Rajdeep Dey (1BBA A) the Best Leader Runner Up for the event.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATA SCIENCE, COMPUTATION AND SECURITY - IDSCS’22

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. Dr Samiksha Shukla welcomed the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Vice-Chancellor and the keynote speakers for the day and summarized forthcoming events of IDSCS'22.
