CUCA Inauguration Ceremony 2021

On the second last day of the month of august, the inauguration ceremony of Christ University Commerce Association (CUCA) was held online via the Webex platform. The event began around 4:30 p.m. and went on for half an hour. The host of the event was Pritisha Sarma of 3 BCOM A. The event began on a very cheerful note with a mellifluous invocation song performed by the students of Christ University. Everybody in the meeting was welcomed by Head of the Department and Programme Coordinator of School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy, Dr Vandana Bhagat. With her welcoming words, she passed the baton to the Director and Dean of Christ (deemed to be university) Lavasa, Pune Dr Fr Jossy P George. His presence and his words fuelled inspiration among the new and the existing batch of students.


The inauguration ceremony was alleviated with the launch of the “Catalyst” magazine of Commerce department. The magazine was officially launched by the academic coordinator, Dr Fr Arun Anthony. With thanking the editorial team of the magazine, the event moved onto its next stage. The event was graced by the presence of a special guest Mr. Paul John, the alumni of Christ (Deemed-to-be) University, Bangalore. He is the founder and CEO of Jopack Pvt. Ltd. which is a paper and paper products manufacturing firm that also does primary and secondary packaging. Paul sharing his offline college experience made the whole gathering feel all sorts of feelings.

Moving onto the final stage of the event, Ms Amala Siby announced the office bearers of the CUCA for the year 2021-2022. The student representatives for this year are Ayushi Chandna and Ayushee Gupta. The media team consists of Dilpreet Kaur and Mohit Chand. The Finance Club is headed by Roohi Sharma and Palak Ambastha. Priyadarshini and Khushi Gurunani are the newly elected heads of the Marketing Club. The Human Resources Club is being led by Soumya Singh and Sourabh Srivastava. Shreeyash Goel, Shrijeet Shandilya and Yash Singh are the pavers of the Entrepreneurship Development Club. The Strategic Planning and Public Relations Club is in the hands of Vasudha Chaubey, Sweta Nandi and Tamanna Bisht. The heads of MUN and Debating Club are Aadil Agarwal and Aniket Sharma. Cyriac Jimmy is heading the Nature Club. The Analytics Club is being led by Anubhav Gang, Pritisha Sarma and Pavni Arora. The Literary Club is headed by Khushi Verma.



The faculty coordinator of CUCA Ms. Ani Samuel proposed the vote of thanks after the announcement. The event was ended on a sweet note with the evergreen Christ anthem.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM.
