Workshop on Ideation

A workshop on Ideation about Idea generation was organized by IIC - CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus on 25 September 2021. The workshop was conducted by Dr Arti Agrawal, Associate Professor, MBA. HOD-MBA Dr Becky Thomas graced the occasion with her presence and a motivational talk to the students. Total number of students who attended the meeting were around 85. The workshop started with a welcome address by Ms Rashmi Anchi, student MBA.

It was very interactive and interesting. The students were given an introduction about ‘Ideation’ and a group task was conducted regarding the same. They were separated into 10 groups and were asked to discuss among the groups they belonged to and were asked about the challenges they face being in those groups. Students found it easy and interesting to interact between the members of their groups.


Each and every student participated enthusiastically. They gave their own perceptions and ideas about their interests and challenges in their respective groups. Students got to know about their fellow student’s interests and challenges faced by them. They  also came up with different types of solutions which was then discussed in the main forum and Dr Arti provided the students with a microscopic look on the problems and asked for their views on the same.

Different ideas and perspectives were analysed and so the participants could deeply think about different concepts and solutions. Some of them were about the problems students and teachers face in Lavasa regarding the bookstore / library / book cafe and the small area in the concerto specifically while recording formal videos when required. Another group spoke about including creative clubs like photography club which could encourage students to showcase their creativity and talents, Mental wellbeing of individuals amidst this present situation, was also a matter of discussion.

Students were motivated, and the topic stirred the thought process of members in the meeting. Dr Arti also opened the forum for Q&A session  and asked the feedback aswell . At the end, HOD Dr Becky Thomas presented her point of view and engaged the students. The meeting was very informative for the students which would surely help them in their future endeavours.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DATA SCIENCE, COMPUTATION AND SECURITY - IDSCS’22

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
