‘Inauguration of Club and Societies and Launch of the Newsletter’

Another interactive club activity was conducted on September 4, 2021, where the Club and Societies were officially inaugurated, and the Newsletter was launched. All the classes under the department of data science were part of it. Student coordinator, Ms Arundhati Kolahal, welcomed the chief guest and all of the other attendees. The event began with the launching of the first edition of the newsletter 'The Blueprint.' This bi-annual Newsletter comprises articles, interviews, expert insights, drawings, puzzles, and various other intriguing aspects related to the ever-expanding subject of Data Science. 



This was followed by the inauguration of four clubs, named ‘Infinite Loop,' ‘CODE,' ‘Freakonomics,' and ‘Jack of all trades.’ The faculty in-charge of each club provided a description of what their club is about. ‘Infinite Loop’ is an information tech club that will be led by Prof Naived. ‘CODE,’ which will be led by Prof Libin, is a club for data enthusiasts. Dr. Shahid's 'Freakonomics' is an economics club, while 'Jack of All

Trades' is a general club that will host art competitions, debate competitions, and other events centered on current issues such as climate warming and the Covid-19 Pandemic. Dr Pooja Batra will lead the club ‘Jack of All Trades.' All UG students are required to be a member of at least one club.



Arundhati Kolahal concluded the event by summarizing all of the points and delivering the vote of thanks.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS

The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy organized a "Panel Discussion on Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Skill " on 4th March 2022 at 1:30 PM at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.   Ms Ayushi Chandna student of 6 BCom (Financial Analytics) commenced the session with silent prayer & briefed about the Panel Discussion. The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM. Dr Pooja Batra was the Emcee for the occasion and began with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a prayer song performed by the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
