Introducing F1000 Research: An Innovative Open Research Publication Platform

The exclusive introduction on F1000 Research: An innovative Open Research publication platform took place on 03/09/2021 at 4:30 pm. It started with a welcome speech by Ms Sanaya Matthew. The guest of honor was Mr Pankaj Bhardwaj, Director-Business Development, Taylor & Francis. The workshop was attended by around 100 students. The welcome speech was followed by the talk by the guest speaker Mr Pankaj Bhardwaj, where he gave an elaborative introduction to what the F1000 research platform is about and its purpose. He explained various aspects of the platform with a power point presentation so the audience was able to visualize the attributes of the F1000 research platform. The advanced platform is an open research platform, which offers rapid publication of articles and other research outputs across physical and life sciences, engineering, medicine, social sciences and humanities. It was launched in 2013 and was the first open research publishing platform combining the ability to publish rapidly with functionality to ensure transparency, robustness and reproducibility of research. All this and the basics of operating the platform were demonstrated by Mr Pankaj.The session was followed by a question-answer session where students participated actively. It ended with the Vote of Thanks by Mr Rahul R. It was a knowledgeable session for all, in the sense of having a go-to platform to conduct in-depth research, publish research work and to do advanced research with the help of the platform.

The Third International Conference on Data Science, Computation and Security (IDSCS-22) hosted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus in association with Springer from 11th to 12th February 2022. The conference was conducted online with participants from all across the globe. The conference commenced with the inauguration ceremony at 9:30 AM.
